That’s why we’re proud to support JLL, alongside their long-term cleaning and soft FM partner Andron Facilities Management (FM), in embedding sustainability into everyday operations, starting with something as simple as toilet roll.
As part of JLL’s commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its operations, Andron worked closely with JLL to identify an opportunity to reduce single-use plastic and virgin paper within washroom consumables by introducing Serious Tissues’ recycled, plastic-free products into the supply chain.
Through JLL’s adoption of Serious Tissues’ recycled, plastic-free paper products, Andron
enabled implementation across sites, while Serious Tissues delivered measurable environmental and social impact alongside improved value.

By switching everyday consumables like paper products to sustainable, plastic-free alternatives, JLL, working in partnership with Andron and Serious Tissues, is setting an example for corporate offices and facilities teams across the UK — proving that operational efficiency and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.
A partner with purpose
Every Serious Tissues product contributes to fighting homelessness in the UK, deforestation, and ocean plastic recovery. Together, we’re turning essential workplace products into powerful tools for environmental good.
Serious Tissues recently announced an update to their social impact model, by
supporting people with disadvantaged backgrounds (including homelessness) into
meaningful employment within the cleaning industry.
This development marks the next stage of our collaboration with Andron and JLL, exploring opportunities for candidate placements within Andron’s cleaning teams across JLL sites. It extends the impact of our partnership into hands-on employment creation.

Impact we’ve made together
Through JLL’s commitment, Andron’s site-level implementation and Serious Tissues’ impact-led products and initiatives, this collaborative partnership has helped to:
- Plant 2,248 trees
- Remove 558 tonnes of CO₂ from the atmosphere over their lifetime
- Save 84 trees by choosing 100% recycled paper
- Remove 180kg of plastic from the supply chain as no plastic in the product or packaging
- Create 5 days of employment for local planters through reforestation projects
Each of these outcomes supports global reforestation, reduces waste, and creates fair work opportunities in local communities.
